PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator and a bed device including the actuator capable of suppressing sudden operation of the actuator in a space-saving manner and in a simple configuration without providing a damper mechanism or the like, and causing no loss in the operation. ! SOLUTION: A bed device (1) accommodating to emergency release, includes a back lifting mechanism (9) and a knee lifting mechanism (7) on a frame (2). A direct-acting actuator (10) for driving the back lifting mechanism (9) includes a screw shaft (12) having a screw part, and a starting shaft (13) that moves forward and backward by rotary operation of the screw shaft (12).
