FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to all wheel drive vehicle. The drive mode selection device for four-wheel drive vehicle contains drive mode selection facility and facilities for determination of variable value characterising vehicle operation. Additionally, there are facilities for selected drive mode processing based on value of one variable characterising vehicle operation. Variable determination facilities include means for filtering the mentioned variables. The device contains means for coding filtered variables received from means of filtering, and means for coded variables comparing with threshold corresponding to value allowed for each selected drive mode. Drive mode selection method contains following stages: drive mode selection by vehicle driver; reading of at least one variable; selected drive mode adaptation; filtering of variables; filtered variables coding; coded variables comparison with threshold for each selected drive mode.EFFECT: adaptation of drive mode set by driver to vehicle operation.6 cl, 8 dwg |
