The tampon is placed inside the case. The case, tampon and placement element are configured so that applying force to the placement element in the first direction moves the tampon and string for removal from the case in the second direction, generically opposite the first direction, additionally comprising a pusher, and at least one guide element. At least one guide element is placed inside the case.
