Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and an apparatus for managing an access point and a system used in the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for managing an access point in a certification server which certifies the access point (AP) connected to a home hub comprises the steps of: receiving a set message from the access point through the home hub; extracting an IP address of the home hub from the received message; comparing the extracted IP address of the home hub with a stored authorized IP address; and transferring a femto lock request message to the access point if the extracted IP address of the home hub and the authorized IP address are not matched. According to embodiments of the present invention, a dispute between network business operators is able to be prevented by making the access point not access a network of the other company.
