The present invention relates to a communications maintenance (test-present) method of a vehicle diagnosis system comprising: a communications starting step (S0) of performing first normal communications between a vehicle diagnosis system (100) and a vehicle system (200); a communications maintenance information transferring step (S1) of transferring communication maintenance related information containing the data transmitting and receiving maximum waiting time from a diagnostic application part (110) to a diagnostic hardware block (120) after the communications starting step (S0); and a communications maintaining step (S2) of determining that the communications maintenance maximum waiting time elapsed by the diagnostic hardware block (120) if data communications are not performed according to diagnostic function performance between the vehicle diagnosis system (100) and the vehicle system (200), and maintaining communications by performing communications maintenance with the vehicle system (200) by the diagnostic hardware block (120) if it is determined that the data communications are not performed after the data transmitting and receiving maximum waiting time elapsed. |
