The present invention relates to a flame-retardant polybutylene terephthalate resin composition and a molded article thereof and, more specifically, to a thermoplastic copolymer resin composition and a molded article thereof, which has excellent flame retardancy by comprising a polybutylene terephthalate resin and a polysiloxane-branched polycarbonate copolymer resin even though a halogen-based flame retardant agent and a phosphor-based flame retardant agent are not used or used to the minimum, and has remarkably improved impact resistance without a separate impact reinforcing agent.
