<p>A collaboration computer system including a database system and a processing system for communicating with the database system. The database system maintains (i) user data representing users; (ii) model data representing process models of respective processes and defining steps and associated users of each process; (iii) touch point data representing connections between steps of different independent processes; and (iv) state data associated with steps of instances of the processes. The processing system includes a user module to associate users with respective user data; a model module to generate user interfaces for users to create the process models and generate the model data, and associate processes to users, independently of other users; and an instance module to generate and operate instances of the processes based on the models and monitor state changes of the steps in parallel based on the state data, and generate notification message data based on the touch point data on state change of a connected step.</p> |
