<p>A method for operating a mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: displaying an icon of a recommended application on a lock screen based on the current time information and location information; displaying at least one context recommending menu based on a user′s usage history around the icon of the recommended application upon an input by touching an icon of a recommended application; receiving an input for dragging toward the displayed context recommending menu; and executing the context recommending menu of the recommended application corresponding to and based on the input for dragging. Accordingly, a user is enabled to execute an application or a function thereof more promptly and conveniently.</p> |
