A magnetic levitation system according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a vehicle which levitates and moves by a magnetic force, a first support frame fixed to the ground, a levitation electromagnet which is fixed to the first support frame and is arranged on the vehicle, a main gap sensor fixed to the first support frame, a second support frame fixed to the ground, and an assistance gap sensor fixed to the second support frame. The assistance gap sensor is adjacent to the levitation electromagnet.
