The present invention relates to a structure of an electric compressor drive unit comprising: a stator disposed in an annular shape inside a housing wherein a coolant is introduced and is compressed to be discharged; and a rotor positioned to be rotated inside the stator and where a driving shaft is coupled in a center portion. The stator comprises: a shoe of which one side surface faces the rotor in an arc shape; teeth integrally extended in a radial direction from the other side surface of the shoe and where a coil is wound; and a head unit of which an inner circumferential surface is integrally formed in the outside of the teeth and an outer circumferential surface faces the inner circumferential surface of the housing. The shoe provides the structure of an electric compressor drive unit having the center portion of one side surface facing the rotor and both side units having different radii of curvature. Therefore, the present invention is capable of reducing driving noise and initial startup noise due to caulking torque reduction and is easily controlled by torque ripple reduction. The present invention is capable of reducing voltage used for operation and improving motor control with a Bemf sine wave design.
