Disclosed in the present invention are an ice maker, a controlling method thereof, and a refrigerator with the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the ice maker includes: an ice tray; and a water supply unit for supplying ice making water to the ice tray. The water supply unit additionally supplies ice making water to the ice tray when the ice making water inside the ice tray becomes ice completely. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the ice maker, the controlling method thereof, and the refrigerator with the same which can reduce electricity consumption.
