The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for inputting a password and a recording medium using the same. The method for inputting the password according to the present invention comprises the steps of: providing a temporary secret value configured to be different from the password in the case of satisfying a preset activation condition; providing an input interface for selecting the temporary secret value in response to the password or selecting the password in response to the temporary secret value; and receiving the temporary secret value or the password selected via the input interface. The present invention enables a safe password input in a mobile device like a smartphone.
