The present invention relates to a mobile terminal, a device and a control method thereof, wherein the mobile terminal comprises: a short range communication unit making communications with at least one device by a short range communication method; a storage unit storing registered device information and first authentication information corresponding to a registered device; and a control unit determining whether an approach target device is the registered device if sensing that the mobile terminal approaches the device, and in the case of determining that the device is the registered device, controlling the short range communication unit to transmit the first authentication information corresponding to the device, to the device. Thereby, the present invention authenticates a user by the simple method of approaching the mobile terminal to the device without making the user input authentication information, so enhancing user convenience and strengthening a security effect may be expected.
