<p>The present invention relates to a run flat pneumatic tire which improves heat radiation performance on a sidewall area of a tire, and relates to a run flat pneumatic tire by which a protrusion is formed on a sidewall area to radiate much heat with a reinforced rubber for supporting a load to radiate heat outwards by air, and to improve the heat radiation performance of the tire by creating swirl at the same time, and a noise caused by the protrusion of the sidewall area is weakened. In accordance with the present invention provided is the run flat pneumatic tire characterized in that a sidewall has a two-protrusion shape and is surrounded by longitudinal members (112, 114, 111, 113) and transverse members (116, 117) of top and bottom type A, and longitudinal members (212, 214, 211, 213) and transverse members (216, 217) of top and bottom type B, wherein type A has a diamond convex shape, and type B has a diamond concave shape, the two types are symmetrical on the basis of a circumferential line passing through a center point of the side width to keep certain spaces between each of the protrusions, and 4N (10<N<25) protrusions are disposed on the side of the tire along a circumferential direction.</p> |
