Provided is a solid fuel crushing device that is provided with: a crushing table (12); a solid fuel feed unit that supplies solid fuel to the crushing table (12); and a roller (13) that rotates around a rotating shaft (21) by being pressed on a crushing surface (12c) of the crushing table (12) and crushes solid fuel along with rotation of the crushing table (12). In addition to contact between the outer peripheral surface (13a) of the roller (13) with the crushing surface (12c) of the crushing table (12), a position (P1) where the circumferential velocity of the outer peripheral surface (13a) equals the circumferential velocity of the crushing surface (12c) is more to the inner circumferential side of the crushing table (12) than a position (P2) where the outer peripheral surface (13a) and the crushing surface (12c) are in contact at a center position in the direction of width of the roller (13).
