<p>An apparatus for controlling a dark current and a method thereof are disclosed. The apparatus for controlling a dark current according to the present invention comprises: a battery sensor measuring the status of a vehicle battery; a switch part intermitting electrical connection between the vehicle battery and a loading part; and an MCU (Micro Controlling Unit) controlling a dark current generated in the switch part depending on the remaining amount of the battery, which is measured by the battery sensor. According to the present invention, the dark current flowing in the MCU is actively controlled by monitoring the power state of the vehicle, thereby improving the starting ability of the vehicle.</p> |
