PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire which is formed using a thermoplastic resin and is excellent in durability and manufacturability, and a method for manufacturing the tire.SOLUTION: There is provided a tire 10 having an annular tire skeleton 17 formed of a thermoplastic resin material. The thermoplastic resin material contains: a polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer, an acid-modified elastomer obtained by acid-modifying an unmodified olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer other than the polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer or a mixture of the unmodified olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer and an acid-modified elastomer obtained by acid-modifying the unmodified olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer; or an acid-modified elastomer obtained by acid-modifying an unmodified styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer other than the polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer or a mixture of the unmodified styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer and an acid-modified elastomer obtained by acid-modifying the unmodified styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer.
