A method for producing pulp boards is specified, in which method, in a former, a pulp suspension is dewatered and a pulp web is formed from the pulp suspension, the pulp web which is formed is subsequently dewatered further in a pressing section, dried in a drying section and fed to a cutting apparatus, and the running dried pulp web is cut into the pulp boards in the cutting apparatus, wherein the pulp web which is formed in the former is guided in the pressing section through at least two shoe presses with in each case at least one pressure nip which is extended in the web running direction, and the dried pulp web is cut into the pulp boards in the cutting apparatus by means of two cutting blades which extend at least substantially transversely with respect to the web running direction, wherein at least one of the two cutting blades is provided on the outer circumference of a rotating cutting cylinder and the cutting blades interact in a scissor-like manner to sever the running pulp web. A machine for producing pulp boards which is suitable, in particular, for carrying out the method is also specified. |
