<p>The present invention relates to a heat-foamable coating agent and a method for preparing the same, wherein the heat-foamable coating agent is prepared by mixing sucrose phosphate caramel or sucrose silica caramel with expanded graphite, and thus an adhesive is foamed by heat to form a foamed insulation layer in case of fire. The method for preparing the heat-foamable coating agent of the present invention comprises the steps of: mixing sucrose and phosphoric acid and inducing sucrose phosphorolysis, thereby forming sucrose phosphate caramel; mixing polyol with the sucrose phosphate caramel, expanded graphite, and a dispersant, followed by stirring; and mixing isocyanate with the mixture of sucrose phosphate caramel and expanded graphite.</p> |
