A multilayer heat-shrinkable film comprising: a) an outer heat sealable layer b) at least one layer comprising a blend of ethylene homopolymer and/or ethylene–alfa olefin copolymers and ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, c) at least one internal gas-barrier layer, and d) at least one layer comprising a material selected from the group consisting of acrylate-based resin and acrylic acid-based resin, and blends thereof with ethylene homopolymer and/or ethylene/alpha-olefin (E/AO) copolymer and/or adhesive materials and flexible packaging containers made therefrom.
