The invention concerns an assembly for producing a threaded connection, comprising a first and a second tubular component with an axis of revolution (10) and each respectively provided at one of their ends (20, 30) with at least a first (21, 31) and a second (22, 32) continuous threaded zone, respectively produced on the outer or inner circumferential surface of the component depending on whether the threaded end is male or female in type, in the form of a first and a second helix each provided with a first (41) and a second (42) taper generatrix, the first threaded zones produced in accordance with the first helix being capable of cooperating together in makeup and the second threaded zones produced in accordance with the second helix being capable of cooperating together in makeup, each of the threaded zones defining a thread profile, viewed in a longitudinal section passing through the axis of revolution, provided with load flanks (21a, 22a, 31a, 32a), stabbing flanks (21b, 22b, 31b, 32b), thread crests (21c, 22c, 31c, 32c), and thread roots (21d, 22d, 31d, 32d), characterized in thatthe height (TH1) of the threads of the first threaded zones and the height (TH2) of the threads of the second threaded zones are each in the range 1 mm to 2.5 mm, and the angle of the load flanks (LFA1, LFA2) of the first and second threaded zones with the normal to the axis of revolution is in the range 1 to 20 degrees, and the angle of the stabbing flanks (SFA1, SFA2) of the first and second threaded zones with the normal to the axis of revolution is in the range 3 to 25 degrees. |
