PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a double-side indexable face cutting insert including a neutral surface parallel to an upper side, a lower side, and a vertical side, a geometrical center axis forming a right angle with the neutral surface, and a plurality of cutting edges capable of mutually utilizing, where the cutting edges are formed on a plurality of clearance surfaces and a transition section between the upper side and the lower side along a peripheral boundary line, and the cutting edges include primary chip removing edges and surface wiping secondary edges forming an obtuse angle with the primary edges.SOLUTION: A corner surface connected with a secondary edge is extended between each pair of secondary edges via upper and lower surfaces acting as a clearance surface and forming an acute angle together with a reference plane surface parallel to a neutral surface. |
