PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for distilling an easily polymerizable compound under reduced pressure, in which, when a steam ejector is used as a pressure reducing device, at a step of distilling the easily polymerizable compound under reduced pressure, the steam ejector is prevented from being clogged by a polymer of the easily polymerizable compound, and to provide a method for producing acrylic acid being one of the easily polymerizable compounds, in which method the method for distilling the easily polymerizable compound under reduced pressure is used.SOLUTION: The method for producing acrylic acid comprises a step of distilling the acrylic acid, which is obtained by a vapor-phase catalytic oxidation reaction of propane, propylene or acrolein being a raw material, under the pressure reduced by the steam ejector. The step of distilling the acrylic acid under the reduced pressure comprises a step of heating the outside surface of the steam ejector. The method for distilling an acrylic acid or an acrylic acid ester under reduced pressure, in which a steam ejector is used, comprising a step of heating the outside surface of the steam ejector is also provided. |
