SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a hydrogen storage alloy, comprising: a step of preparing a hydrogen storage alloy having a main phase of a body-centered cubic structure and a grain boundary phase containing Ti and Ni; a hydrogenation step of hydrogenating a portion of the hydrogen storage alloy by maintaining the same in an environment of a temperature of T [K] and hydrogen pressure of P [atm]; and a step of making hydrogen discharged from the hydrogenated portion.
