PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack storage unit that facilitates putting/taking a storage box in/out of a storage part of an analyzing apparatus, and to provide an analyzing apparatus provided with the rack storage unit. ! SOLUTION: A rack storage unit 100, as a top face 104B of a case 104 is open, a disposable chip rack 54 can be fitted by drawing out the case 104 toward a user from a storage part 10A of an analyzing apparatus 10 over slide rails 106 and placing the chip rack down into the case 104 from above. After that, the case 104 fitted with the disposable chip rack 54 can be pushed into the storage part 10A over the slide rails 106. Further, as a front face 54A of the disposable chip rack 54 and a front face 104A of the case 104 are open, a disposable chip box 28 can be taken out of the front face 54A of the disposable chip rack 54 fitted to the case 104. !
