1. An automobile device comprising:
a) a communication interface; b) a processor; and c) a memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause said automobile device to:
i) record automobile data obtained from one or more sensors installed in an automobile;ii) transmit a random access preamble on an uplink carrier to a base station when a pre-defined condition is met based on at least one of the following:
(1) said automobile data;(2) the current time; and(3) a user input;iii) transmit, to said base station over a non-guaranteed bit rate (non-GBR) bearer, a first message destined for a server in a communication network, said first message being configured to trigger establishment of a connection to said server;iv) receive, from said base station over said non-GBR bearer, a second message originating from said server, said second message being configured to cause transmission of said automobile data to said server;v) encrypt said automobile data; andvi) transmit, to said base station, said encrypted automobile data, said base station being configured to decrypt said automobile data before forwarding said automobile data to said server. |
