This invention discloses a reception device that obtains a received signal, the gain of which is adjusted to an optimal level regardless of whether or not interference is present, and performs error correction. Said reception device has the following: first- and second-system amplification means that amplify received signals received by antenna means; a level-variation detection means that controls the gain of the first-system amplification means; a maximum-reception-signal-level extraction means that controls the gain of the second-system amplification means; first- and second-system frequency transformation means; an interference-frequency detection means that detects the frequency of interference in the second system; an interference-frequency rejection means that rejects the frequency of said interference; a plurality of demodulation means that demodulate the signals in the respective systems; noise-amplitude computation means that compute the amplitude of noise in the respective systems; equalization means that correct the amplitudes and phases of the signals in the respective systems; and a combining means that combines demodulation results from the respective systems on the basis of noise-amplitude detection results from the noise-amplitude detection means for the respective systems. |
