A wearable electronic device and a display method therefor. The wearable electronic device comprises a sensor (1), a processor (2), a display controller (3) and a display (4), wherein the sensor (1) is used for collecting data and generating a sensing signal characterizing a data characteristic of the currently collected data, and transmitting same to the processor (2); the processor (2) is used for determining a display method of the data characteristic characterized by the sensing signal corresponding to the display (4) according to the received sensing signal and generating a display control signal, and transmitting the display control signal to the display controller (3); and the display controller (3) controls the display (4) to display according to the display control signal. Relevant display content can be clearly and easily seen on the wearable electronic device when the device is relatively small, and the operation is simple and convenient.
