<p>An apparatus and method for cooling a liquid, the apparatus including a tank having an outer wall, at least one additional wall formed of heat conductive material in the tank defining an inner chamber and defining, together with the outer wall, an outer chamber, a liquid to be cooled disposed in a first of the inner and outer chambers, a coolant material, having higher heat capacity than the liquid to be cooled, disposed in a second of the inner and outer chambers, in heat transfer contact with the liquid to be cooled, and a thermoelectric cooling unit coupled to the tank in heat transfer contact with the coolant material for cooling the coolant material and ejecting heat from the coolant material outside of the tank.</p> |
