PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanocomposite producible even using raw material more inexpensive and having larger grain sizes compared with the conventional one, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a nanocomposite containing an MgX phase, an MgY phase and an X phase, where the X denotes Si, Ge, Sn or Pb, the Y denotes Si, Ge, Sn or Pb, and X and Y are different. Also provided is a method for producing a nanocomposite in which α2=0, α3=0, &bgr;2=0 and also &bgr;3=0, containing: a milling step of milling a powdery mixture including MgX powder and Y powder to obtain raw material powder; and a firing step of firing the raw material powder. |
