PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for obtaining emotion information of a subject by estimating the emotion of the subject, without using an electroencephalograph to wear on the head.SOLUTION: An emotion estimation device 3 comprises: an electroencephalogram estimation unit which receives biological information other than the electroencephalogram of a subject 1 and estimates the electroencephalogram of the subject from the biological information on the basis of the correlation between the biological information and the electroencephalogram; and a pattern identification unit which compares the electroencephalogram estimated by the electroencephalogram estimation unit with a feature pattern stored in association with the emotion and estimates the emotion of the subject. The electroencephalogram estimation unit receives time series data of the biological information, analyzes the frequency component of the received time series data, estimates a predetermined frequency component in the electroencephalogram on the basis of the predetermined frequency component in the biological information, and outputs the result. |
