The invention relates to special forms of printing which allow for creating, in the body of a sheet material, an original three-dimensional image which protects same against counterfeiting. A three-dimensional image is formed in the body of a sheet material which is transparent to laser radiation, between a layer of metal, on one of the surfaces thereof, and two metalized diffraction gratings positioned in parallel one above the other with a gap therebetween in the body of the sheet material from a side which is opposite to the surface of said material. Each point of the image, created by means of a laser beam on the surface of the layer of metal, is doubled in the body of the sheet material, forming therein, in a channel created by an incident beam, a pair of three-dimensional metal-dielectric elongated nanostructures having quantum-size effects. A given totality of the pairs of such nanostructures in the body of the sheet material forms a three-dimensional (3D) image, wherein the components of the nanostructure thereof, in the presence of energy radiation under the effect of an outside light source, in effect, form a three-dimensional luminous hologram in which each isolated point of the image exhibits an iridescent effect when the sheet material is turned at various angles.
|
