<p>A method and device for starting a browser in a smart TV, the smart TV having previously established a communication connection with a mobile communication terminal. On the mobile communication terminal side, the method comprises: providing a user operation entry in a user interface of the mobile communication terminal; via the user operation entry, receiving a URL link inputted by a user and receiving an instruction of sending the URL link; based on the instruction, sending the URL link to the smart TV over the communication connection to enable the smart TV to start the browser according to the instruction and load the URL link. The method enables a user to input a URL link in the user interface of the mobile communication terminal and send the inputted URL link to a smart TV, and the smart TV starts the browser according to the received URL link and loads the URL link, thus ensuring more convenient and quicker operation, and significantly improving efficiency of user access to a URL link.</p> |
