The headlight module (100) is provided with a light source (1), a condensing optical element (2), and a projection optical element (3). The light source (1) emits light, which becomes projection light. The condensing optical element (2) turns the light emitted from the light source (1) into condensed light and forms an intermediate image (IM). The light source (1) is provided as a plurality of light sources. The projection optical element (3) magnifies and projects a plurality of intermediate images (IM) formed by the light emitted from the plurality of the light sources (1). The condensing optical element (2) is provided with a function whereby light being transmitted is refracted.
