Disclosed herein is a method for producing methane by injecting a substrate per temperature or per stage, adding a trace amount of metal and controlling a SBR operating method. The method according to the present invention can be performed by using a substrate with a high organic content, such as undiluted food waste, thus effectively producing biomethane from organic wastes.
