The purpose of the present invention is to suppress vibration of plate thickness on an outlet side of a mill by controlling configuration to generate tensile to an object to be rolled on an inlet or outlet side of a rolling mill and appropriately controlling a roll gap of a rolling mill. The rolling control apparatus for controlling a mill continuously rolling an object to be rolled with two roll pairs comprises: a roll gap control unit controlling a gap between rolls of the roll pairs based on tensile of the object to be rolled inserted into the roll pairs to be rolled by the roll pairs or tensile of the object to be rolled discharged from the roll pairs after rolling; a speed control unit the transfer speed of the object to be rolled inserted into the roll pairs to be rolled by the roll pairs or the object to be rolled discharged from the roll pairs after rolling based on the thickness of the plate of the rolled object; and an intermediate tensile control unit controlling the tensile of the object to be rolled between the two roll pairs by controlling the speed of the roll pairs arranged at a rear end side of a transfer direction of the object to be rolled.
