PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component that prevents change in a spectral characteristic due to an incidence angle. ! SOLUTION: An optical component 100 comprises an optical substrate 110 and a first band-pass filter 140 formed on the optical substrate. The first band-pass filter is formed by stacking a high refractive index layer 142 having a first refractive index and a low refractive index layer 141 having a second refractive index lower than the first refractive index. When the first refractive index is expressed as nH, the second refractive index is expressed as nL, the physical film thickness of the high refractive index layer is expressed as dH, and the physical film thickness of the low refractive index layer is expressed as dL, the following expression (1) is satisfied: (nL×dL)/(nH×dH)≤0.50 ...
