PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzer without transporting an incorrect transport target to a treatment unit. ! SOLUTION: A control device controls a transport device 56 to sequentially transmit reaction plates 16 to a plurality of treatment units according to treatment steps stored in advance. Prior to transportation of the reaction plates 16 by the transport device 56, a barcode reader 90 of a hand unit 78 reads barcodes 17 of the respective reaction plates 16 and performs collation of the reaction plates 16 the barcodes 17 of which are read while referring to the treatment steps. The transport device 56 is stopped from operating if it is determined that the reaction plate 16 is incorrect.
