PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video encoding/decoding method and a device therefor that apply an intra-prediction method having diverse directivities on the basis of hierarchical encoding units of various sizes.SOLUTION: Provided is a video decoding method, wherein the video decoding method includes: a stage for acquiring information indicating an intra-prediction mode applied to a current block from a bit stream; a stage for acquiring one of the position of a peripheral pixel located on the left side of the current block and the position of a peripheral pixel located on the top side of the current block according to the intra-prediction mode; and a stage for performing intra-prediction on the current block according to the position of the peripheral pixel and the intra-prediction mode. The intra-prediction mode designates a specific direction among a plurality of directions, the specific direction being indicated by dx in the horizontal direction (dx is an integer) and a fixed number in the vertical direction, or indicated by dy in the vertical direction (dy is an integer) and a fixed number in the horizontal direction. |
