PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for the dyeing of keratin fibers, in particular, human keratin fibers, such as the hair, which enables coloration in various shades that is powerful, chromatic and aesthetic, with low selectivity and with excellent resistance to aggressive factors to which the hair is likely to be subjected, such as shampoos, the light, sweat and permanent shaping.SOLUTION: There are disclosed herein a composition for the dyeing of keratin fibers comprising at least one 3-amino pyrazolo-[1,5-a]-pyridine derivative or one of its addition salts, and a method of employing this derivative.
