Provided is a polarizing plate which is sequentially provided with a polarizer having a thickness d1 of 10 μm or less, a first adhesive layer having a thickness d2 of 2.0 μm or less and a first protective film having a thickness d3 of 80 μm or less in this order, and wherein the thicknesses d1, d2 and d3 satisfy the following formula: 100 × d2/(d1 + d3) ≤ 2.0. This polarizing plate may be additionally provided with a second adhesive layer and a second protective film on the other surface of the polarizer. |
