PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driving assist to be properly performed on the basis of the condition of a drive or the feeling of the driver.SOLUTION: On the basis of the degree of environmental difficulty, which is required for driving operation of a driver due to the outside environment of a vehicle, and driving skill which is evaluated based on the driving operation of the driver, the condition of the driver with respect to the outside environment (for instance, feeling such as pleasure, anxiety and boredom) is estimated. When the driving skill is high beyond a preset specified value, a driving assist is performed according to the estimated condition of the driver (an assist amount aa in Figure 5). When the driving skill is low below the preset specified value, the driving assist based on the estimated condition of the driver is prohibited regardless of the degree of the environmental difficulty, and for instance, automatic driving is executed (S7, S8 in Figure 13). |
