PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which picks up an image with an appropriate exposure time.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes an imaging element having an imaging plane, and a shutter unit having an aperture. The aperture transmits light from a subject. The shutter unit has a screen unit selectively performing an open operation for opening the aperture and a close operation for closing the aperture, and an actuator for driving the screen unit. The shutter unit performs an image pickup operation in which the charge of the imaging element is reset and then the close operation for closing the aperture of the shutter unit is performed, and a pre-driving operation in which the screen unit is minutely driven by the actuator before the image pickup operation. |
