PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue measurement and ablation apparatus, an antenna calibration method and a surgical probe calibration method.SOLUTION: A tissue treatment apparatus has an ablation channel for conveying microwave radiation to a surgical antenna at a high power level, and a separate measurement channel for conveying microwave radiation to the surgical antenna at a low power level. The measurement channel avoids noisy components in the ablation channel.
