receiving, by a processor, a call directed to a customer, wherein the call is associated with the customer premises based feature; forwarding, by the processor, the call to a customer premises based communication system located at a location of the customer, wherein the customer premises based feature is intended to be implemented locally by the customer premises based communication system; and receiving, by the processor, an administrative request from the customer premises based communication system, wherein the administrative request comprises a request to turn on a network based service feature corresponding to the customer premises based feature. |
