PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic system which allows for more accurate auditory localization, by setting a virtual sound source in a space between a reflection surface, e.g., the wall surface of a room, and a listener.SOLUTION: An acoustic system 10 includes a signal source 21 generating a signal wave of audible band, a plurality of ultrasonic speakers SP for generating a carrier of ultrasonic band, and radiating a modulation wave produced by modulating the carrier by the signal wave, and a control section (filtering section) 22 for controlling the sound pressure at a predetermined position, so as to set the virtual sound source SS of the signal wave at the predetermined position on the transmission path of the modulation wave in a space between a reflection surface for reflecting the modulation wave radiated from the ultrasonic speaker and the listener. |
