LIGHT SOURCE UNIT AND LIGHTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the introduction cost compared to a case where a functional component is provided at a device body.SOLUTION: A light source unit 2 includes: an LED module 22; and an attachment member 21 which supports the LED module 22 and is detachably attached to a device body 1 of a lighting device A. The light source unit 2 includes: a power source device 24 which is attached to the attachment member 21 and supplies electric power to the LED module 22; and a functional component (a human body detection unit 26) for acting on the power source device 24 and achieving a function regarding the LED module 22. A desired function is added to the lighting device A by replacing a light source unit with the light source unit 2 equipped with the desired functional component. Thus, introduction cost can be reduced compared to a case where the functional component is provided at the device body 1.
