PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in charge and discharge cycle characteristics in a secondary battery, to suppress generation of defects caused by expansion and contraction of an active material in a negative electrode, and to suppress deterioration caused by deformation of an electrode.SOLUTION: An electrode member comprises a current collector, an active material, and a porous body. The porous body is contacted with one surface of the current collector, and has a plurality of spaces therein. The active material is located in the spaces of the porous body. A size of the spaces is larger than the active material.
