PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint-shaft coupling structure capable of improving the steering feeling of a steering wheel by reducing backlash in the rotating direction between a coupling cylinder part and a shaft.SOLUTION: In an inner peripheral face 71 of a coupling cylinder part 7, a key groove 77 is formed as an engaging portion. The key groove 77 is formed at a phase different by 180 degrees from that of a slit 72. On an outer peripheral face of a shaft 8, a key 85 is formed as an engaged portion to be engaged with the key groove 77. When a great rotating torque works between the coupling cylinder part 7 and the shaft 8, a force is given from the key 85 to the key groove 77. No rotating torque works on the slit 72 when a fastening force of a bolt 74 is small, and so no backlash occurs between the key 85 and the key groove 77. Thus, there is no event that a rigidity in the rotating direction between the coupling cylinder part 7 and the shaft 8 lowers and the steering feeling of the steering wheel may lower. |
