PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver powder production method that can produce a silver powder having a uniform and desired particle size, with high productivity.SOLUTION: Provided is a silver powder production method for producing a silver powder by: continuously mixing a silver solution comprising silver complex, and a reducing agent solution to obtain a reaction mixture; reducing silver complex in the reaction mixture to obtain a silver particle slurry; and followed by subjecting the same to the respective steps of filtration, washing and drying, and the method has: a silver-seed solution preparation step S1 for obtaining a silver-seed solution by mixing a filtered seed-formation silver solution comprising silver complex, a solution comprising strong reducing agent, and a dispersant; a seed-containing reducing agent solution preparation step S2 for obtaining a seed-containing reducing agent solution by mixing the silver-seed solution obtained, and a weak reducing agent whose normal electrode potential is higher than the strong reducing agent; and a particle growth step S3 for growing silver particle by continuously mixing a seed-containing reducing agent solution and a filtered particle-growth silver solution comprising silver complex to obtain a reaction mixture, and reducing silver complex in the reaction mixture. |
